An anniversary edition inevitably means <strong>new challenges<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Usually, the Hard D\u00e9fiTour takes place over 2 days, and at the end of those two days, only <strong>20%<\/strong> of participants manage to become <strong>finishers<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But this year, it wasn\u2019t 2 but <strong>3 days<\/strong> of riding, for a total of nearly <strong>1,200 km<\/strong>. It\u2019s not a race, but a challenging ride on an <strong>enduro-style route<\/strong> to be completed on a <a href=\"https:\/\/tenere-spirit-experience.com\/en\/la-tenere-700\/\">trail<\/a> or maxi-trail bike. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The hardest part is still <strong>stringing the obstacles together<\/strong>, which wears riders down as the kilometers add up.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the lowest numbers, the start is at 7:00 AM. The evening time limit is then set based on the start time\u20146:00 PM for the first riders. This time limit is at a certain mileage, close to the end of the route. So you need to <strong>keep a steady pace<\/strong> to make it through and also validate the last <strong>CPs<\/strong> to be officially classed as a finisher. <strong>fifty<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/tenere-spirit-experience.com\/en\/la-tenere-700\/\">Yamaha T\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 700<\/a> on the start line. On our side, we also took part on a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tenere-spirit-experience.com\/en\/la-tenere-700\/\">T\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 700<\/a><\/strong>. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The number one enemy in this kind of challenge is potential <strong>mechanical issues<\/strong>, especially punctures, which can cost a huge amount of time.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We chose to start with reinforced <strong>Haan Wheels<\/strong> rims, an <strong>Enduro Medium tire<\/strong> up front with a Michelin M16 mousse tube.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the rear, we fitted a <strong>Michelin Baja tire<\/strong> with an M02 mousse tube.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Many riders also went for a mousse setup, but some ran into problems with split mousse halfway through. \u26a0\ufe0f So be careful when choosing your mousse. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On our side, we recommend <a href=\"https:\/\/www.michelin.fr\/motorbike\/conseils-moto\/choisir-pneus\/michelin-bib-mousse\">Michelin mousse tubes<\/a>, because they\u2019re what we use in <a href=\"https:\/\/tenere-spirit-experience.com\/en\/immersion-raid\/\">rally-raid<\/a> with our riders, and they also offer the best durability.<br><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Next, we definitely recommend carrying a few small tools so you\u2019re ready to do quick repairs out on the trail.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">\u2705 Mission accomplished for our team: Hugo managed to become a <strong>finisher of this Hard D\u00e9fiTour!<\/strong><br\/>No breakage, no injuries on the T\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 700 despite the 1,200 km and the difficulty of the route.<\/p><p><strong>Challenge completed with flying colors!<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cbfea84 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"cbfea84\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;jet_parallax_layout_list&quot;:[]}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0b09e7d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0b09e7d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Need parts or advice to kit out your T\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 700?
