Where to ride off-road motorcycles in Montpellier / Occitanie?

Where to ride an off-road motorcycle? That’s the big question everyone asks us.

The trail bike is the ideal motorcycle for versatility: a bit of adventure, road, trails… But in France, not all trails are freely accessible. So you can’t ride wherever you want without risking penalties.

So it’s better to be well accompanied or know the terrain well.

Riding trail bikes in Hérault: a supervised solution

We have therefore opened a Ténéré Center in Bouzigues, which allows off-road rides in Hérault.

The goal? To get together for a day to ride together, in an organized, safe environment suitable for everyone.

Off-road motorcycle rides departing from Bouzigues

Departing from Bouzigues, this off-road motorcycle ride crosses the plains of Hérault before reaching the foothills of the causses in the hinterland.

A varied route, ideal for trail enthusiasts and maxi-trail riders looking to ride safely while enjoying a challenging yet accessible route.

A ride accessible to all levels

These off-road rides in Hérault are open to all levels.
The routes don’t present any major difficulties, but offer enough technical challenge to have fun off-road.

Whether you ride a Yamaha Ténéré, a trail bike, maxi-trail, or scrambler equipped with suitable tires, these rides are the perfect opportunity to discover the southern trails in an organized and friendly setting.

Ténéré Camp 2026 in Morocco? Desert Tour, the Ténéré raid

Do you know the Ténéré Camp? An event reserved for Ténéré owners, usually over 3 days, featuring riding, activities, challenges and time to connect around adventure.
This year, we’ll meet up in Morocco for the Desert Tour: the spirit of a Ténéré Camp, but this time in Morocco.

The spirit of a Ténéré Camp, in Morocco

A raid for Ténéré 700 riders, and more broadly for any type of Ténéré. 4 days of riding, with 3 categories, so everyone can ride at their own pace and find enough challenge to improve.

GPX category: a category with a GPX track, mostly off-road, ideal for discovering the Moroccan desert without too much complexity.

Roadbook Discovery category : ideal for discovering roadbook navigation. You navigate using the roadbook and have the option of using GPS for support. You are free to check it, but it’s there if you’re ever in doubt.

Roadbook Challenge category : roadbook navigation only, featuring classic desert challenges. Wadis, fesh-fesh, some dunes… and optional, more challenging sections.

A raid with Yamaha riders?

All accompanied by our riders and ambassadors to keep you well supported and advised: Gautier Paulin, Alessandro Botturi, Kevin Gallas, Jordi Arcarons… and maybe some surprise guests.

A goal for this Ténéré raid? Win the mini-challenges to be on your category’s podium at the end. No speed on this raid, but consistency, with challenges that will put your skills to the test.

A comfortable raid at Xaluca

A fully comfortable raid, because our bivouac base will be at Xaluca, a hotel in Erfoud, where you can unwind after a day of riding: pool, sauna, massage, or even a gym for those who still have energy.

Our advice for this raid?

If you wish to participate with your own Ténéré, an equipment list will be provided after you register. The goal is to ensure you are in the best possible conditions to participate.

For example, for the Roadbook Challenge category: you must of course have a tablet or a roadbook reader so you can read the roadbook.

As for tires, we recommend mousse bibs + medium enduro tires, or heavy-duty inner tubes with tires suited to the desert.

A pre-filter to protect the engine from sand…

All of this, as well as rider gear, will be specified in our equipment list.

Day 2 – Adventure ride in the Basque Country

We had the chance to participate in the 2025 edition of the Ténéré Travel Trophy: an exceptional motorcycle rally-raid aboard a Yamaha Ténéré 700, starting from Denmark, passing through Sweden, and a magical arrival in the Norwegian fjords.

An extraordinary adventure on a Ténéré 700 through the magnificent landscapes of Scandinavia!

An accessible and unforgettable Ténéré 700 rally

The Ténéré Travel Trophy is more than just a motorcycle event: it’s a motorcycle touring rally, an off-road road trip, a friendly challenge, and above all, a unique experience on a Ténéré 700.

No stopwatch, no pressure: you follow a GPX track and cross incredible scenery in modern adventurer mode.

The concept is accessible to all Ténéré 700 owners, thanks to two route variants:

Asphalt for those who prefer to stay on the road
Off-road (gravel) for those who love dust and adventure

Optional “hard” detours are offered for riders who want a bit more of a challenge. Perfect for testing the capabilities of your Ténéré 700 off-road!

A flexible and friendly format: the Ténéré 700 travel spirit

Each day, there are between 200 and 350 km to cover, for a total of about 1,500 km over 5 stages.
The organization focuses entirely on the spirit of travel and camaraderie among Ténéré 700 enthusiasts.

Daily mini-challenges are offered to liven up the rally:

Quiz
Unusual challenges (finding a postcard, keeping a gas receipt, etc.)

The prize? A final podium with €500, €250, and €100 to be won by the top three. Nothing serious, just something to spice up the adventure!

Bivouac atmosphere and total freedom

This year, 150 Ténéré 700s were at the start. Impressive!
Accommodation is in a bivouac, by lakes or at the foot of snow-capped mountains: a true Nordic immersion. You just had to choose your sleeping bag wisely, as the nights can be chilly.

The organization handles everything: meals, logistics, atmosphere. For luggage, you can: t ransport your gear on your bike, or have it transported by the organization (paid option): ideal for traveling light with your Ténéré 700.

The brand new Ténéré 700 Rally was officially launched in Morocco by our riders during the Carta Rallye.. A great debut!
This intense week allowed us to put the new machine to the test in real race conditions.

Now, it’s time to prepare for our next rally-raid.
This time, we’re leaving the dunes behind and heading for more enduro-style terrain, between mountains and open plains.

A 2000 km rally-raid in Europe?
