TÉNÉRÉ TRAVEL TROPHY 2025
We had the chance to participate in the 2025 edition of the Ténéré Travel Trophy: an exceptional motorcycle rally-raid aboard a Yamaha Ténéré 700, starting from Denmark, passing through Sweden, and a magical arrival in the Norwegian fjords.

An accessible and unforgettable Ténéré 700 rally
The Ténéré Travel Trophy is more than just a motorcycle event: it’s a motorcycle touring rally, an off-road road trip, a friendly challenge, and above all, a unique experience on a Ténéré 700.
No stopwatch, no pressure: you follow a GPX track and cross incredible scenery in modern adventurer mode.
The concept is accessible to all Ténéré 700 owners, thanks to two route variants:
- Asphalt for those who prefer to stay on the road
- Off-road (gravel) for those who love dust and adventure
Optional “hard” detours are offered for riders who want a bit more of a challenge. Perfect for testing the capabilities of your Ténéré 700 off-road!
A flexible and friendly format: the Ténéré 700 travel spirit
Each day, there are between 200 and 350 km to cover, for a total of about 1,500 km over 5 stages.
The organization focuses entirely on the spirit of travel and camaraderie among Ténéré 700 enthusiasts.
Daily mini-challenges are offered to liven up the rally:
- Quiz
- Unusual challenges (finding a postcard, keeping a gas receipt, etc.)
The prize? A final podium with €500, €250, and €100 to be won by the top three. Nothing serious, just something to spice up the adventure!
Bivouac atmosphere and total freedom
This year, 150 Ténéré 700s were at the start. Impressive!
Accommodation is in a bivouac, by lakes or at the foot of snow-capped mountains: a true Nordic immersion. You just had to choose your sleeping bag wisely, as the nights can be chilly.
The organization handles everything: meals, logistics, atmosphere. For luggage, you can: t ransport your gear on your bike, or have it transported by the organization (paid option): ideal for traveling light with your Ténéré 700.
