Backflip Yamaha Ténéré 700: a new facet of the legend
The Yamaha Ténéré 700 has nothing left to prove. It has already traveled around the world, crossed the highest mountain passes, excelled in the most demanding rally-raid, and distinguished itself in motocross, trial, and enduro. Even Pol Tarrès, the king of Extreme, has pushed the limits of the bike on impossible courses… and yet, one challenge remained: freestyle. One of the most spectacular and complex tricks: the backflip.
Until now, no rider had dared attempt this feat with the Ténéré 700, whose size seemed almost incompatible with this type of maneuver.

With nearly twenty years of professional experience, Jérémy has already made his mark on European freestyle history: at the age of 17, he successfully completed a 25-meter long flip and has participated in Red Bull X-Fighters, XGames, Nitro Circus, Night of the Jump, and Freestyle des Nations (2013).
For this challenge, Jérémy Rouanet wore the Yamaha Alpinestars MX gear:

The world’s first backflip on a Ténéré 700
After several weeks of intensive training on this carefully prepared machine, the result is clear: the world’s first backflip on a Yamaha Ténéré 700. A spectacular feat that reveals an unexpected side to the Ténéré: after conquering the road, mountain passes, rallies, and extreme off-road riding with Pol Tarrès, it has now proven that it can also dominate freestyle riding.
With its Akrapovic exhaust system, suspension optimized by OTS Factory, and a highly motivated rider, the Ténéré 700 once again demonstrates its incredible versatility: performance, precision, and passion in the service of achievement.
Décidément, cette moto sait tout faire : de l’enduro au rallye, de l’Extreme à maintenant… la figure mythique du backflip.
