At the Yamaha Ténéré Rally Team, we ride for performance, for extreme challenges, for the dust, and for the passion… but also for a cause close to our hearts: access to healthcare in the most remote parts of Africa.
And that’s where one of our most inspiring partners comes into play: Riders for Health.
🏍 Riders for Health: Motorcycles that save lives
For over 30 years, Riders for Health has been riding the rugged trails of The Gambia, Malawi, Nigeria, and Lesotho.
Their mission? To ensure reliable access to healthcare services, even where no other vehicle can go.
How? With robust Yamaha AG100 motorcycles, capable of taking on the toughest terrain.
Vaccinations, maternal care, malaria treatment… all made possible because a healthcare worker could reach a remote village, by motorcycle.
🔧 Yamaha & Riders for Health: 3 more years to make a difference
In 2022, Yamaha Motor Europe joined forces with Riders for Health.
In 2025, the partnership is renewed for another three years.
But this isn’t just about donations, it’s a strategic commitment.
➡️ 48 AG100 motorcycles donated by 2024
➡️ Over €62,000 raised via the UK-based Two Wheels for Life
➡️ Technical support, maintenance, and fleet replacement
➡️ Awareness campaigns through our channels, events, and rallies
And most importantly: Riders for Health is now the title partner of the Yamaha Ténéré Rally Team.
