TENERE 700 RAID TRAINING
This program offers a combination of theory classes and practical experience to enable participants to acquire the basic skills to take part in a rally in the Raid* category.

A two-day training course in Aveyron, southern France. Loïc Minaudier welcomes you to his home, in the heart of an area renowned for its varied terrain and tracks particularly well-suited to learning rallying.
THE TEAM
Marc Bourgeois : Manager of the Yamaha Ténéré Rally Team and head of the Ténéré Spirit Expérience program, former Enduro World Champion
Loïc Minaudier: High-level Enduro and Rally rider, navigation expert and co-driver of Mathieu Serradori.
* The Raid category has been designed to enable amateur riders to take part in a rally without the pressure of a stopwatch or the difficulty of a paper roadbook, on routes that are suitable for all levels of rider.
The course
DAY 1 – Fundamentals
Morning
Welcome and stage presentation over a coffee.
Introduction to and discovery of the roadbook and navigation (in the classroom).
Presentation of a Yamaha Ténéré motorcycle and rally bike and rider equipment.
Discovery of navigation instruments.
Afternoon
Guided route for discovery and roadbook introduction.
DAY 2 – Exploration, navigation and orientation
Morning
Coffee and warm-up
Review of skills from the first day
Afternoon
A large loop of approximately 200 km with off-road riding and navigation
Validation of skills for participation in a first rally
Debriefing of the entire course
Prerequisites:
Motorcycle license for large engines
Off-road experience
Equipment to bring:
Motorcycle gear: Pants / Jersey
Protective gear: Helmet / Boots / Knee guards / Chest protector / Airbag vest / Camelback
For personal motorcycles: Roadbook navigation equipment / Odometer / Compass / Off-road tires

TENERE 700 DESERT TRAINING
Jordi offers a course to prepare you to take part in a Rally-Raid in the Raid category. You’ll learn the basics of interpreting a road book, using a GPS and navigating with headings, all while driving over a variety of terrains, including sand and dunes.

3 day all-inclusive motorbike tour of the Moroccan desert
Accommodation:
4 nights at Xaluca Hotel (Arfoud) with full board, located 60 km from Errachidia airport.
