Used to wide-open spaces and desert endurance in rally-raid, the Ténéré Yamaha Rally Team is taking on a brand-new challenge this weekend: the Baja España Aragón 2026!
What is a Baja?
A Baja is a short, particularly fast-paced off-road rally that takes place over 2 to 3 days. The Baja Aragón is part of the wider Cross-Country. Unlike traditional rally-raids, this is a very intense event, raced at a sustained pace on technical tracks.
Which categories are on the start line?
The competition brings together an impressive diversity of vehicles:
- Motorcycles & Quads (FIM / Open): Categories ranging from 450 cc up to Trail bikes (twin-cylinder over 600 cc), Maxitrails, Quads, and Women’s, Junior or Veteran categories.
- Cars (FIA): Ultimate prototypes, Stock production vehicles, lightweight Challenger prototypes and SSVs.
- Trucks: The imposing Trucks category.
