As the official Yamaha Ténéré Rally Team, we bring together top-level motorsport performance and the spirit of adventure.
We support elite riders in competition, while also opening our structure to passionate amateurs through the Ténéré Spirit Experience, giving them the opportunity to experience a rally from the inside, with full professional support.
Rooted in the Dakar legacy, we race for performance—but also to inspire.
Marc Bourgeois – Manager of the Yamaha Ténéré Rally Team
Marc Bourgeois is a former professional rider and a respected manager in the rally-raid world.
With experience as team director for Yamaha in the Dakar Rally and the Enduro World Championship, he now leads the Yamaha Ténéré Rally Team.
Marc is also the creator of the Ténéré Spirit Experience program, which allows enthusiasts to live the rally adventure alongside top riders like Alessandro Botturi and Pol Tarrés.

Alessandro Botturi
Alessandro Botturi, a former enduro champion, has won the Africa Eco Race twice (2019 and 2020), as well as the Rallye di Sardegna, TransAnatolia, and the Merzouga Rally. He has also competed in several editions of the Dakar Rally, achieving an 8th place overall and multiple stage podiums.
Pol Tarrés
Pol Tarrés, former junior world trial champion, made his mark in rally-raid by winning the TransAnatolia 2023 and the Morocco Desert Challenge 2024, becoming the first rider to win this rally on a twin-cylinder motorcycle. He also holds a world record for reaching the highest altitude ever achieved on a twin-cylinder motorcycle.
Gautier Paulin
Gautier Paulin, a motocross rider, has won 9 Grand Prix in MXGP and was world vice-champion in 2015. He also played a key role in France’s five consecutive Motocross of Nations victories from 2014 to 2018.
Stéphane Peterhansel
Nicknamed “Mr. Dakar,” Stéphane Peterhansel holds the record for most Dakar Rally victories, with 14 wins: 6 on motorcycles and 8 in cars. He also won the Paris–Beijing Rally and the Tunisia Rally, and was Enduro World Champion in 1997.
